Punky B Fashion Jewellery originated in Perth, Western Australia, in 2006. Upon returning from London, Australian couple Dan and Simone Palmer saw great potential for fashion jewellery in the Australian market after experiencing a massive craze of fashion accessories throughout the UK and many other parts of Europe. They envisaged Punky B Fashion Jewellery providing Australians with an extensive range of affordable, high quality and stylish fashion accessories.
Punky B Fashion Jewellery operates a small number of retail shops in the Perth metropolitan area in the lead up to Christmas, a concept that has proved to be hugely popular over the past couple of years. As a result of this experience, Dan & Simone also saw a gap in the wholesale fashion jewellery market, and consequently launched Punky B Fashion Jewellery as a wholesale business.
Punky B Fashion Jewellery’s wholesale business has been very successful since its launch. We now supply 350 various wholesale customers around Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific. The Punky B team has grown from Dan & Simone to a team of six staff members undertaking various office and warehouse roles. Wholesale customers can source Punky B Fashion Jewellery at trade fairs throughout the year in Sydney and Melbourne, at Reed Gift Fairs and Fashion Exposed. In addition to being able to order either through trade fairs or online, our customers are also treated with a catalogue three times a year.
